Pick up a cardboard shoebox and/or brochure.
Or, virtually pack a shoebox! It is an easy, fun, and affordable option.
Click on the link above!
Fill a standard-size cardboard or plastic shoebox (you may wrap or decorate your box, but wrap the cover separate)
with items for a boy or girl ages: 2-4 years, 5-9 years, or 10-14 years.
Consider items such as:
School supplies, hygiene items, toys, a flashlight with extra batteries, stuffed animal or doll,
and clothes—such as a t-shirt or socks. You may want to include a picture or note as well.
Also, tools (hammer, wrench, screwdriver, measuring tape) and sewing kits (scissors, thread, needles, pins,
measuring tape, pin cushion, and fabric) are great ideas for teens and may help open a door for future employment.
Don't pack items such as:
NO TOOTHPASTE or CANDY.
No used items, liquids, perishables, glass, war related items, or items that melt.
Track your box! Pay the suggested donation of $10 per box to help with shipping costs.
Use the QR code on the brochure label for your box or go online at www.samaritanspurse.org
Click on “Get Your Label” and follow the easy instructions.
You will receive a label to attach to your box and track the country it ends up in.
Or, place a check to Samaritan’s Purse in the postage paid envelope
and mail it or put the envelope inside your shoebox. Tape your label on your box.
