At First Baptist Church we love God and we love each other. We also love the gospel and we seek to live by it everyday. However, the truths of the gospel and the reality of God’s love are not just for us to enjoy, and that is why we seek to share God’s love and the joy of the gospel with those around us.
Here are just a few of the outreach ministries that we do at First Baptist:

Living Nativity
Every year First Baptist Church presents The Living Nativity, a live presentation of the story of Christ’s birth. The presentation takes place outdoors in the FBC parking lot at the corner of N. 5th Ave. and Georgia St. There is no charge for admission and free refreshments are offered inside in the fellowship hall following each presentation.

The presentation times for 2016 are:
Friday and Saturday, December 2 and 3
6:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Operation Christmas Child
First Baptist Church serves as the only relay center in Door County for Operation Christmas Child. Every year individuals and churches from all over the county drop off their shoe boxes at FBC during collection week. Click here to learn more about Operation Christmas Child.

The collection week hours for 2016 are:
Monday-Friday, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School at FBC is always free and open to anyone in the community. We see Vacation Bible School as an opportunity to share God’s love with many children from around Sturgeon Bay and Door County. Also, 100% of the freewill offering that is collected during VBS week goes to support other local, regional, and international ministries.
