ADULTS
We believe that being a Christian means being a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ. That means that we never stop studying God’s word, and we never quit in our pursuit of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ and encouraging each other along the way.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
There are a variety of ministries available for adults at FBC to connect in fellowship, enjoy common interests, and grow in discipleship.
Grace Groups are one of the main ways at First Baptist to grow in your walk with the Lord and connect in meaningful relationships with others. Grace Groups meet throughout the week for Bible study, mutual ministry, and fellowship. There are several options throughout the week to fit with your busy schedule. We encourage all members and regular attenders to be active in a Grace Group as part of their intentional pursuit of growing in life and faith.
Adult Sunday school classes take place every Sunday morning during the school year after worship and coffee time. These classes are a great way for adults to continue growing in their knowledge of the Bible and in their relationship with Jesus Christ, as well as in their relationships with other Christians.
PraiseMoves is a Christian alternative to yoga. The PraiseMoves class meets weekly for one hour of stretching, bending, and reciting Scripture. It’s a perfect way to grow physically, mentally, and spiritually at the same time!
The group is meeting on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm in FBC's Fellowship Hall. Women and Men are welcome. Contact Nancy Stults with any questions at 920-455-9170.
Outspokin’ is a ministry for adults that includes fitness and fellowship. At Outspokin’ we exercise our physical core as well as our spiritual core.
Bike rides are typically Thursdays at 5:30 pm (in season) meeting at Sawyer Park, riding to Pot Park Tower and sharing in a brief time of prayer. For questions call Doug/Lois Kurschner at 920-746-5147.
The men of FBC get together regularly throughout the year (typically once a month) on a Saturday morning for breakfast and fellowship. Dates are published in the monthly newsletter and on the website, under events page.
Every fall a group of men and women from FBC head up to Lake Ellen Camp in Michigan for the Men’s Retreat and Women’s Retreat. The Men’s Retreat typically takes place on a weekend in September, and the Women’s Retreat typically takes place on a weekend in October. Visit our events page for more info.
