WORSHIP SERVICES UPDATE

Our worship services are currently being held in person on Sundays at 9am & 10:15am, with Nursery and Children’s Church available during the 10:15am service only. The 9am service will continue to be livestreamed on our website and Facebook page.

There will be no Sunday School or designated time in the Fellowship Hall for snacks and coffee after services. There will be designated spaces within the building (such as the Cafe Lounge) to view the service if more space is needed.

RESPONSE TO THE MASK MANDATE

Regarding the mask mandate that was enforced by the WI Govenor on August 1st, we are not “enforcing” the mask mandate, but continue to encourage congregants to wear a mask in common areas as they enter/leave the sanctuary. They are not required while we sing or sit during the service.

Completely enforcing a mask at all times while indoors is neither our responsibility nor our priority. Whether or not you wear a mask is your decision, and it’s between you (and your conscience) and the governor. We will have bottles of water available for anyone who would like to sit and sip during the service – or you can bring your own water or coffee and enjoy it. We also have a bountiful supply of very fine disposable masks if you need one.

CONTINUING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

As we gather, we want to take the COVID-19 safety precautions and encourage people to stay home if they do not feel well, to work toward safer spacing and refrain from physical contact, and to wash hands. We implore everyone to be sensitive to others and realize not everyone has the same perspective on everything and to be gracious and thoughtful and kind. Masks are encouraged, but not required.

SERVICE TRANSITIONS

It is important to vacate the sanctuary promptly after the 9:00am service considering the second service will start at 10:15am. The outdoor green space and sidewalks and parking lot are all fine places to chat with friends and it can be done from “safer distances”.

Please contact the church office with any questions.
