Vacation Bible School 2018

June 11-15

It’s time to gear up for the big game! So grab your megaphones, lace up your cleats, and tune up your horn. It’s go time! As kids get ready for the big game, they will learn that the goal is not competing in their own strength because God has already equipped them with everything they need!
Join us for a week of preparing for life’s big game at Game On!™ Kids will begin each day at the Pep Rally. From the Pep Rally, kids will gather at the Field House where they will be equipped to dig deep into God’s Word. Kids will learn that God has given them everything they need through His divine power. Each day kids will make crafts, play fun games, enjoy tasty snacks, sing cool songs, and learn about missions.

Vacation Bible School 2018 will take place at First Baptist Church June 11-15, 9am-noon each day.

Are you new to VBS at FBC?

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a week-long, Bible-based event for children. All children entering kindergarten through grade 6 are welcome at VBS, and there is no cost to attend. We take safety seriously at FBC and we do our very best to make sure that everyone stays safe at VBS. All activities are supervised by responsible adults in accordance with our Child Protection Policy, and all of our adult leaders go through a screening process that includes a background check. At VBS your child will have a fantastic time making new friends, watching skits, singing songs, playing games, making crafts, enjoying fun snacks, learning about world missions, and, most importantly, getting to know the God who loves them through daily Bible lessons! Although we do not charge for VBS, the boys and girls always have a fun time competing to see who can bring in the most offerings, all of which go to support missions. On the last day, a representative for the boys and a representative for the girls face off and the “loser” of the VBS offering competition gets to enjoy a pie in the face. None of the money collected during VBS is used to pay for VBS. On the last day of VBS (Friday), right after the closing rally, we host a picnic for the VBS kids and their families. VBS is a blast every year. We’d love to have you join us this summer! If you’d like to get a better idea of what VBS is like, please watch the slideshow from last year’s VBS..
