Thanks for checking out our website! We’d love to have you join us for worship at First Baptist Church. All are welcome! Here’s what you can expect if you decide to visit:

Our worship service starts at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. You’ll hear expository preaching that is faithful to the Bible, a blend of traditional and contemporary music, Scripture, prayer, and the sweet sounds of fellowship.

The nursery is available during worship services and Sunday school for infants and toddlers through age 3. Before the sermon begins, children age 3 through Kindergarten are dismissed for Children’s Church. During Children’s Church, a snack is provided, and children participate in activities and are taught age appropriate Bible lessons by a rotation of teachers and helpers. All of our adult teachers and nursery workers are screened according to our child protection policy, so you can be sure your children will have a great time learning about God in a safe environment.

Following worship, we gather in the fellowship hall for “coffee time.” This is a time for fellowship and encouragement–a time to build one another up in the faith and welcome newcomers. During coffee time, children in pre-school through grade 5 meet together for Sunday Scoop where they sing songs and have a snack before Sunday school begins.

Sunday school classes for all ages take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. from September through June. We have a talented crew of Sunday school teachers who love to teach the Bible. For the safety of all, we ask that parents or guardians pick up children through grade 5 at their classrooms at 11:20 a.m. Click here to learn more about our curriculum and available classes.

Our church is located on the corner of North 5th Avenue and Georgia Street in Sturgeon Bay. If you have questions about our church or need help finding us, click here.
